Dr. nicole Hodges
Chiropractic Physician & Nutrition Specialist
Dr. Nic is from Logan, Ohio; a small but beautiful town that taught her the value of community and helping those in need. At 17 years old, this led her to seek a path larger than herself by joining the United States Marine Corps, where she served proudly for 6 years. During this time, Dr. Nic played Division II Softball, and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology. Following her undergraduate degree, she created At the Core Lifestyle; a place she hoped would build community, inspire change, and spread love and positivity.
Dr. Nic graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic’s Florida campus, and she specializes in nutrition, lifestyle changes, and musculoskeletal concerns.
Dr. Nic is the founder and Co-owner of ATC, and in her free time enjoys traveling, working out, napping with her dogs Mardi & Loki, & hanging out with her best friend/husband Jesse.
Dr. Jesse Hodges
Chiropractic Physician & Human Performance Specialist
Dr. Hodges is from New Orleans, Louisiana. He graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic’s Florida campus and has been in private practice for 13 years. He has a Masters in Biomechanics & Human Performance, as well as a Masters in Educational Leadership.
Dr. Hodges is currently an Associate Professor at Palmer Florida where he teaches Movement Science and Active Care. He has a passion for the Marvel cinematic universe, drinking lots of coffee, kettlebell training, and yoga.
Dr. Hodges is the Co-owner of ATC along with his wife Nicole, & their 2 rescue pitties 🐾❤️

Dr. Leslie Castillo-Ortiz
Chiropractic Physician & founder of Fuerza Performance Lab: Sports Chiropractic & Rehabilitation

Dr. Leslie Yessenia Castillo-Ortiz, is the founder of Fuerza Performance Lab: Sports Chiropractic & Rehabilitation, a performance-focused practice dedicated to restoring movement, preventing injury, and optimizing human performance.
Dr. Castillo-Ortiz earned her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic – Florida, where she developed a strong foundation in evidence-based musculoskeletal care, biomechanics, and sports rehabilitation. She is currently completing a Master of Science in Sports Science & Rehabilitation at Logan University and is pursuing advanced credentials in sports chiropractic.
Her clinical experience spans athletes across multiple levels of competition. Dr. Castillo-Ortiz has worked with NCAA Division I athletes at Bethune-Cookman University, as well as competitive youth athletes, helping them recover from injury and return to sport through performance-focused rehabilitation. She also had the opportunity to serve alongside a team of sports chiropractic physicians at the World Games 2025 in Chengdu, China, providing care to elite international athletes.
Her clinical approach integrates chiropractic care, movement analysis, corrective exercise, and performance-based rehabilitation to help athletes and active individuals recover stronger and move better. Dr. Castillo-Ortiz believes that rehabilitation should not only resolve pain but also build resilience, strength, and long-term performance capacity.
Through Fuerza Performance Lab, her mission is to bridge the gap between rehabilitation and athletic performance, empowering individuals to return to sport and life with confidence.
Dr. Jessica Thorpe
Chiropractic Physician & founder of embody chiropractic
Originally from Edgewater, Florida, Dr. Thorpe grew up in a coastal community where showing up for others was simply part of everyday life. That foundation shaped her warm, approachable, and no-judgment care style because healing works better when you feel heard, not rushed.
Dr. Thorpe is a graduate of Palmer College of Chiropractic’s Florida campus and emphasizes on women’s health, myofascial therapy, and conservative approaches to menstrual health. Her care focuses on thoughtful, individualized treatment that helps patients move better, feel stronger, and stop wondering if discomfort is something they’re supposed to just live with. Her clinical approach blends hands-on myofascial therapy, movement-based strategies, and conservative care designed for real bodies and real schedules.
As an independent contractor, Dr. Thorpe welcomes all patients and has a particular passion for empowering women to better understand their bodies and health. Her goal is to create care plans that make sense, feel doable, and support long-term progress.
Expect clear explanations, realistic goals, individualized treatment and the occasional well-timed laugh, because healing doesn’t have to be so serious all the time 🤪
